My first impression of the Callan Method was that I wish I had tried it sooner.
Before that, when I was attending other English Schools, my English hadn’t improved as much as I had expected, especially speaking.
Everyday I agonised over how I would improve my pronunciation and speaking skill.
However, when I started to use the Callan Method I honestly felt that my English was improving.
It was very hard to follow the teacher who spoke at a native pace in the class. However students learn how to respond at the same speed.
Thanks to Callan Method I was able to correct my old habit of thinking in Japanese and then translating that into English!!
